Day 01: Arrival Srinagar
You are received with a warm welcome at the airport in Srinagar and from there you are directly transferred to the houseboat. After check in at the houseboat, freshen up and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. If you wish, you may treat yourself to a memorable Shikara (small crafted boat with a decorative hood) ride across the pristine Dal Lake (self-sponsored) and enjoy the water-life of Srinagar bustling with floating markets and making up for a picture perfect sight with blooming lotuses. Visit the local crafts market known for their unique Papier-mâché and Walnut Wood items. Spend a beautiful night inside the luxurious Houseboat.
Day 02: Srinagar
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast in the houseboat and venture out for a city tour of Srinagar. Visit the popular landmarks like the Mogul Garden "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and the "Shalimar Bagh"(Abode of All). With this, there also awaits a memorable drive along the picturesque lake side on the Boulevard. On your way back, browse through the local Handicrafts Emporium, from where you can shop for the most traditional silk carpets, shawls and ornaments. In the latter half of the day, visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple. Spend yet another lovely night seeping in the luxury and comfort of your Houseboat.
Day 03: Srinagar – Pahalgam (95 km /2hr 30 mins)
You are greeted a good morning with a delicious breakfast served right inside the houseboat. This day is for an unforgettable trip to the enchanting Pahalgam or the "Valley of Shepherds." On reaching Pahalgam, check into the hotel. This place is thronged by tourists the world over for its trekking routes with spectacular scenic views. Also, consider taking a stroll by the River Lidder for yet another rewarding experience. Pahalgam is a popular base camp for all those who embark upon the holy Amarnath Pilgrimage to pray to Lord Shiva. Retire for the night in the hotel.
Day 04: Pahalgam
Relish an elaborate breakfast spread in the morning and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the surrounding areas of Pahalgam. Spend the night in the hotel.
Day 05: Pahalgam – Gulmarg (140 km / 3hr 30 mins)
After breakfast, reach Gulmarg, also called the 'Meadow of Flowers', a valley distanced 53 kms from Srinagar, located at an altitude of 8700-ft. This is not only one of the world’s best known Ski Resorts but also, the world’s highest. It is an 18-hole Golf Course. Spend the night at your hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 06: Gulmarg
Have breakfast and get ready to immerse yourself in a leisure filled day. You may take an optional Cable Car Ride to enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori. Spend the night in the hotel.
Day 07: Gulmarg – Srinagar (42 km / 1hr)
Begin the morning with a delicious breakfast, served at the hotel. Next, set out to the airport/Railway station for journey towards your home destination.
